Based on the vulnerabilities found, a risk score is calculated. Not a goal on itself or a sacred number but a good indicator and a shared interest to keep this risk score as low as possible. Lowering your risk score
For all our (VMware) customers, we have Vulnerability Management turned on ‘by default’ as of July 1, 2023. This is an important prerequisite for making vulnerabilities transparent and taking concerted action to mitigate them.
